Aging

Following upon the efforts of cultivation and the vinification process, aging is indeed the “capital phase” in the development of the wine.

The Château Faurie de Souchard wines are aged in oak barrels for an average of 12 to 16 months. The different batches of Faurie de Souchard are aged separately. This method, which allows each entity the benefit of a specialized treatment, reinforces the complexity of the wines at the moment of assembling.
